Leuta 1,618 Merlot DOC Cortona comes from a vineyard cultivated in Cortona - Tuscany - IT -. The intrinsic characteristics of the soil and the distinctiveness of the climate guarantee the production of wines of particular intensity and elegance.
C: dark ruby red with highlights of violet-blue.
N: notes of small black fruits flanked by an aroma of dark chocolate and tobacco interwoven with mineral notes that recall graphite and gunpowder, sensations of umami and balsamic mint.
B: round and soft with good body and excellent acidity. Sensation of blueberry jam supported by an excellent sapidity, well balanced and harmonious with a fine vertical structure. Long mineral persistence combined with ripe, mature tannins, delicate and silky.
Ideal pairing with red meats and aged cheeses, especially blue cheeses.
